Applied Materials has partnered with NGO E+Co (Bloomfield, New Jersey, U.S.) and the Solar Electric Light Company led high bay light for the initiative.Applied Materials estimates that its program will positively impact 10,000 individuals. According to executives of Epistar and Lite-On, the venture is designed to run a maximum of 60 MOCVD chambers, with half of that number set to be installed in the first stage.Epistar executives pointed out that the venture delivers chips to be packaged at Lite-On, which helps its customers stay competitive with cost-effective packages.Lite-On executives noted that the venture’s volume production will make the supply efficient.
