the next generation of heat sinks for future LED technologies.

Eder Lee, general manager of Leedarson introduced that “The technology will make it easy for us to boost production capacity because injection molding is highly scalable compared metalworking. The material also provides the freedom to design the next generation of heat sinks for future LED technologies.”

At present, Leedarson is using SABIC’s LNP Konduit grade of thermally-conductive compounds. Pittsfield, Mas-based SABIC said in a press release that the material meets industry requirements for electrical isolation and heat dissipation, and can help drive acceptance of lower-energy consumption LED bulbs.Recently, Barco has been proudly showcased its first 2Kx2K main display with replaceable LED backlights for Air Traffic Control at ATC Global 2011, from 8 to 10 March 2011.
