A fewer days before, US-based LED maker Luminus Devices was awarded its 50th patent by the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) covering “big-chip” LED technology and related devices, also, the company had been granted 13 non-US patents in China, Korea and Taiwan.Lighting Science Group Corporation has hired John Bono to serve as its vice president for strategic accounts. Bono will play an integral role in the management of existing strategic accounts, and the pursuit of new strategic accounts.  He will report to Ted Russ, Lighting Science Group’s chief business development officer.
